Going back to the days of 95....and decisions made when I was 11

Tonight on the nintendo Wii virtual console, Chrono Trigger arrives. This is a game I passed one when I was much younger....I believe I was about 11 years old at the time and was faced with one of the most difficult decisions of my young life.
Games were about $90 for my first system, SNES (super nintendo) and I decided to go with a game that had much cooler box art, and even came with a soundtrack! Now that I think of it, they might have been the first ever to do this....correct me if im wrong.  Anway it was mid 90's and this might have been a bigger decision than I knew.  I ended up chosing a fighter (Killer Instict) over a RPG (Chrono Trigger), after much consideration and my dad making sure I wanted to drop my life savings at the time on a game. This choice pretty much moved me away from RPG games and into others...and at that time it would have been a great time to get into JRPGS, as some of the best RPGs ever were produced on SNES.
Chrono Trigger
I had never played a rpg before, but I had loved the Mortal Kombat and Street fighter games at friends places. Being new to SNES I figured the fighter was the right choice. I spent hours playing Killer instict, and I dont think I have ever been as good at a fighter since it, but ever since that day I have been hearing how Chrono Trigger is one of best game eva, blah, blah blah...
Anyway tonight I get to go back and go thru Chrono Trigger...im trying not to have high expectation, because I dont even know if I will like it...but im excited for the opportunity to give it a shot. And plus I save a bunch of money haha...Its only 10$ now instead of the 90 back in 95/96...so with inflation I saved over 140 bucks! what a deal and I only had to wait 15 years...

I love it from the first time it was played in the snes , to most recently on the DS, I may have to rediscover the game for a third time tough on the Wii, virtual console,
Chrono Trigger is just so damn good, and BTW the ultimate party members in chrono IMO,
will be chrono .. of course the silent protaganist with a deadly blade, Frog (glen) he is a frog so thats cool enough, and lucca once you get her fire MP attack complete it's just so devastating, anyway this comment is like a blog entry in itself
